Animal Husbandry Project

As part of the income generating projects for the Center, 30 small piglets were purchased for breeding.

Each woman is caring for two pigs. They are fed and raised for selling and breeding.

When the pig is large enough to sell, more piglets are purchased so more families can join. Some cash is kept for other women to raising the piglets. After 8 months the female will be impregnated  and the males sold. The money from the male pig sales goes back to the BLC to help manage operation.
